The Islander Resort Hotel is a 150 room 3 star hotel located
in the heart of Surfers Paradise. Fifty of these rooms are
dedicated to a backpacker hostel that runs under the "Nomads"
chain.
As part of the Hotels operation, we own and operate Surfers Paradise's only boutique brewery. The venue produces six of it's own beers while serving basic pub style food. The Brewery has been operational since 2001, early this year we decided to review operations internally and gain an external opinion on our concepts.
We made contact with Brian after receiving information from the HMAA on the services he offered. Brian's approach was professional and timely at all times, even after one site visit it was clear that the information relayed could be applied immediately after assessing the property's financial and operations. Brian suggested clear and precise information for management to execute and action. To date we have been operating on his suggested plan and have seen increased percentage and revenue.
